If you have one the blue Kios Friendly Jacuzzis on your terrace read on. I went to fill ours for the first time last week only to find the instructions were only in Spanish, the delivery guys and the call centre were of little use and wanted to charge me to send a chap up to tell me how to use it. If you are not an aficionado of Jacuzzis a few things you should know.
1. A multi-language doc including English can be downloaded from
2. The waste from the Jacuzzi is plumbed in and does not as per instructions require you to drain via a hose. To drain you need to remove the front panel - 2 screws at the bottom and the panel slides down. On the left you will see a red valve that controls the draining. Mine was open when I looked - lever inline open - lever across closed. My valve was installed such that it was a few inches above the lowest point of the Jacuzzi so the Jacuzzi did not fully drain and I had to bale the last by hand.
3. I found a pool and spa shop in San Javier (turn right at the main roundabout in centre of San Javier on the N-332 Carretera del Los Alcazares and it is about 500 yards on the right in a small parade of shops) that sold a kit for about 40 Euros that contains all the chemicals you need to maintain your Jacuzzi. You will also need to buy a PH test kit. These sorts of things are also available at Carrefour and Leroy Merlin.
